#ReadOnUSA is a non-profit foundation that was created by 19 year old, Lora Current after personally seeing a need for support in the area of early childhood literacy. #ReadOnUSA’s goal is to connect families to resources and support that will allow their child to succeed in education. Lora’s mission is to prove that learning and reading impairments can be overcome.

Lora created #ReadOnUSA to share her story and foster in children the same love of learning that she found as a young girl. A current junior at The Ohio State University and a member of the Miss Ohio Scholarship Program, Lora is devoted to service in the efforts to supporting children in education and raising the literacy rates of Ohio. Through #ReadOnUSA, Lora seeks to builds confidence, provide reading opportunities, and teaches strategies to help navigate challenges so that all students can become lifelong learners; inside and outside of the classroom.
